Our Story

Bladerunner Farms, Inc. was founded by David Doguet alongside his wife Sheri Doguet. Over the last 30 years they have built a family business with contributions from their 4 children. David brought with him 25 years of prior experience and a passion to develop the highest quality grasses available anywhere.

The Doguet Family has been working together to build Bladerunner Farms from 1993 to present day.

Bladerunner employs a loyal staff. Our farm manager has been with us for over 40 years and followed David and Sheri from their previous company. We are very proud of our staff retention, loyalty, and family values. Over the years we have employed various members of the same families and were pleased to do so. Including the Chapa family who has worked in our office and on the field for two decades.

We boast the world’s largest privately owned Zoysiagrass research facility. We also partner with the best researchers in the country to deliver exceptional products.

The varieties we carry are environmentally friendly and require less water, less fertilizer, and fewer inputs than other varieties on the market. It’s our mission to offer products that exceed the criteria for sustainability. We believe in low-maintenance grasses at a fair price that can be used for home lawns, commercial projects, sports fields, or golf courses.
