Bladerunner Farms

World’s largest privately owned Zoysiagrass research and development facility. Research and Development at Bladerunner Farms showcases our future grasses in research plots in both sun and shade. It’s also used to study and show differences in varieties for drought tolerance, shade tolerance, disease tolerance, wear tolerance, mowing quality, rate of spread, color.

Research Partners

University of Georgia -

The leading warm season turfgrass research and development University in the world. (Bermuda, paspalum, and now we partner with them on Zoysiagrass R&D.)

University of Tennessee -

We are funding (through a grant) their research program on maintaining Zoysiagrass greens and Zoysiagrass for sports fields. University of Tennessee is renowned for their sports field research.

Lawn Solutions Australia in cooperation with Sport Turf Research Institute (STRI) -

They are currently evaluating our Zoysiagrasses for sports field use. Through STRI our Zoysias are in a study for use on Wimbledon grass courts. The study currently ranks Trinity #1 and Zeon #2 out of multiple grass varieties.

Texas A&M -

We cooperate with their research program and we hold the worldwide exclusive license for Lazer Zoysia.
